🗳️ Election Dissection — December 3
Japan, Argentina, Libya, Sweden, Honduras, Nicaragua and hundreds of jobs and deadlines
Hello folks, happy Friday! It’s that time of the month when we look at what’s been happening in election land and dissect the world’s major elections. Today we’ll focus on Japan and Argentina, and then rattle through some others including two firsts for women in Sweden and Honduras!
We usually pair Election Dissection with Data Corner, but I thought I’d separate the two this month, and do a larger round up of this year’s best data and graphics stories from around the world before we close out 2021.
In the meantime, be sure to check out Monday’s job board update, and last Friday’s Q&A with Ed Walker, Audience and Content Director at Reach, on how to effectively manage and lead teams, and growing the audiences of 50 titles.
This week’s thoughts and deadlines are below, see you again on Monday! 👍
Thought of the Day 🤔
Bend don’t break. I always used to think that was a philosophy to adhere to when things got tough. I always felt proud and took credit for staying strong during adversity. Our subconscious must laugh at us every time, because in reality it’s not ‘us’. It’s our subliminal minds taking care of us. They’ve trained for as long as time, and have our backs no matter what.
