📝 Job Board Update
Another 300+ new journalism jobs and internships added, taking our total to 1,300 positions, plus Lillie news...
Hello folks! Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day to our American friends and, well, there’s really no day that we all shouldn’t be thinking of the civil rights legend.
Another huge update to the job board this week, with 300 new jobs and internships added, taking our total to 1,300 and another step closer to 2,000. I’ve listed details of the new jobs and how to access them below.
Unfortunately we have some sad news… Last Monday my new dog, Lillie, bit me pretty bad in the thigh, and took a hefty chunk with her. Fortunately it looked far worse than it actually was and my leg is on the way to fully healing, minus a cool scar. More importantly, I made the painful decision to hand Lillie back to the Dogs Trust, as I knew this was unlikely to be the only time this would happen, and I just couldn’t trust her not to do the same to other people and, god for bid, to a child in the park.
So, while I regroup and look to rehome another dog in need, I’ve decided to sponsor Lillie instead, as well as send her big tubs of peanut butter and cosy bedding each month so she’s able to have the best last few years possible. She really was the sweetest little lady and the perfect dog, but just had a crazy moment. If you want to do the same, you can sponsor her, or any other dog, by clicking the button below. Moving forward, we’ll have a special ‘Lillie’s Corner’ each week to showcase our cutest and most adorable dogs. A number of ya’ll have already sent me pictures of your loving pooches, so keep sending those to me and a little bit about them, and I’ll include them next week. Until then, enjoy a picture of our last moments together (not pictured: me balling my eyes out). 😢
Job Corner
Another 311 new jobs added over the weekend, including at the likes of Bloomberg, CNN, ESPN, the Financial Times, ITV, MLB, National Post, NBA, NPR, The Atlantic, The Guardian, The Independent, the New York Times, The Times of London, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post…
Apparently there’s a limit on the number of people you can add to a Google Spreadsheet, so I’ve duplicated the main board. If you’re a paying member, you’ll have access to one of the two below links/buttons.
