Hello folks! Happy Friday and welcome to another deadlines edition of Inside The Newsroom. We have hundreds of openings on the board that close in the next few days, and you can find some of them for free below.
Not a whole lot to get through today, so we’ll keep it short. On a personal front, I’ve been thinking a lot about the idea of approval and the things we do to gain it. Whether it’s telling a friend or co-worker a fib to avoid letting them down, or doing something you don’t want to do entirely, the lengths we go to for approval are pretty insane. In fact, we have so many behaviours we enact to seek approval, or avoid dispapproval. It left me thinking that the best form of approval is the one that comes from ourselves.
Anyway, that’s enough philosophy for one day. Check out deadlines and featured jobs below and we’ll speak again Monday. 👋
