✍️✍️ Awards, Conferences, Events and Fellowship Deadlines ✍️✍️ — April 7
33 deadlines plus hundreds of journalism jobs closing soon 🚨
Hello folks! Hope everyone had nice weeks and a happy Good Friday public holiday for the UK folks among us.
On the back of TikTok’s hearing in U.S. Congress recently, check out my mini review on Big Tech's Privacy Policies from Monday. I looked at the likes of TikTok, Meta, Google and Twitter’s policies, and perhaps the most alarming thing I found was the gap between minimum user age and the comprehension-level required to actually understand them.
In today’s newsletter we have a whopping 33 listings on our Journalism Awards, Conferences, Events and Fellowship Deadlines calendar. Some of my favorites include Getting Started With Datawrapper, The Status of the Media in Israel Under Netanyahu, and Bellingcat’s Technical Writing Fellowship. Be sure to check back next week for even more.
If you’re looking for a job in journalism, take advantage of our free seven-day trials so you can see if the job board is for you. Right now we have more than 2,000 active openings.
If you‘re an employer or recruiter with openings now or in the future, fill out this form and have your jobs promoted for as little as $79, or email me at daniellevitt32@gmail.com. And lastly take a look at our featured jobs at RadioFreeEurope and Politico Europe. Speak to you again on Friday!
