Hey folks, happy Friday! It’s been two weeks since we launched our Candidate Board — a reverse job board that connects employers with job seekers directly to save some of the BS of filling out and combing through a billion application forms.
I’m happy to say that we’ve already had more than 100 candidates join(!!!), and today we’ll be “dropping” the first batch to our news organizations doing the hiring.

In other news, applications for news organizations open to hosting emerging and experienced journalists to report on under-covered issues and communities, as part of the truly amazing Report For America program, have now opened! Hosts will receive funding for salaries, training and mentoring. Apply by Ocotber 3.
And if you’re one of the emerging or experienced reporters, applications for you will open toward the end of the year, so keep your eyes open!
