Have You Been Laid Off This Year?
Free one-month trials if you've been laid off or are worried about your job security; Plus 600 new journalism jobs and internships, 100 new journalism calendar entries, and 9,000+ media salaries
Hello folks and welcome to another edition of Inside The Newsroom. There's only one newsletter that is home to the world's largest journalism job board and calendar, and it's this one.
This week we stepped our game up and added a great big whopping 587 new active jobs and internships. So if you're feeling down on the job market right now, we’re here to tell you that there are still plenty of roles out there for you.
For some, the job market has been especially cruel this year, with many among us having lost their job, or having had to fight endlessly just to save their job. If that's you, I truly feel your pain. Fortunately, when I was forced to resign from the Wall Street Journal in 2021, I had this newsletter to support me, but for many the same cannot be said.
That's part of the reason I built this thing: to support fellow journalists in need. So if you or anybody you know has been impacted by layoffs, union bargaining or are simply worried about the future of your employment, I am offering you free access to our job board and premium services. No questions asked.
Please email me at daniellevitt32@gmail.com or reply to this email and I'll get you set up.
If you haven't been impacted by job losses, you can sign yourself up for a free trial by clicking the button below. Cancel any time, and no 30-day notice bullshit.
And if you're new to this newsletter, here's everything you will gain access to by doing so:
1,000+ journalism jobs and internships.
100+ journalism fellowships and grants, webinars and conferences, awards and competitions.
9,000+ historical media salaries from the start of 2023.
Direct line to Daniel’s inbox for any questions about journalism or life.
That's it from me today. Be sure to check out our sponsored job below from the Vineyard Gazette, and also snapshots of all of our premium services.
Have a great rest of the week and remember to reach out if you need absolutely anything.
