Hello folks and a big happy Friday! Today’s one of my favorite days of the year and one that takes me all the way back to the very conception of this newsletter.
When I was a grad student at Mizzou, I sat down one December to apply to internships for the following summer. I thought that six months before the actual positions started was plenty of time, but little did I know, almost all of the deadlines had already passed. That triggered major panic and fear that everyone would be living it up with top internships and obviously my whole world was over.
While my life definitely wasn’t over, I did vow to never miss another internship season again, and went on to secure internships at Bloomberg, FiveThirtyEight and the Texas Tribune in following semesters.
So, that brings us to today. Over the past week I’ve gathered roughly 400 internships whose deadlines are fast approaching. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many, so I’ve listed them all on this link and I’ll continue to add even more in the coming days and weeks.
