🆕 Widening the Pipeline Fellowship
There aren’t enough reporters and editors of color to inform, engage and accurately and fairly reflect our society. The National Press Foundation is addressing this problem through all-expenses-paid trainings and monthly virtual webinars to support journalists of color staying in – and leading – the newsrooms of tomorrow.

The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, in partnership with Goldman Sachs, is accepting applications from small media outlets for the 10,000 Small Businesses initiative. Participants gain practical skills to take their business to the next level, with topics like financial statements, negotiations and marketing. Owners of small media outlets will have the opportunity to create a business plan with an advisor and complete a business-focused curriculum with Babson College.

Networking Africa's Investigative Journalists
On 1 November 2022, 19 African investigative journalists from 14 countries came together to form the Network of African Investigative Reporters and Editors (NAIRE). Meet the Team Behind the Scoop That Brought Down Spain's Football Chief
Soon after Spain won the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the celebration turned into outrage when Spanish Football chief Luis Rubiales kissed Spanish player Jenni Hermoso on the lips without her consent. Prompted by criticism in Spain and beyond, Rubiales recorded a non-apology apology and put out a statement from Hermoso saying the kiss had been consensual. But those were not Hermoso’s words. Rubiales’ team had made them up. Spaniards learnt about the coverup from Relevo, a young sports news site founded in 2022. In this seminar we'll hear from two key members of Relevo's newsroom: Football Editor Sandra S.
