We have dozens of fellowships, grants and scholarships with deadlines coming up in the next week including for the The Guardian’s 2025 Positive Action Scheme; the United Nations’ Dag Hammarskjöld Fund for Journalists, which allows journalists from around the world to report from the United Nations General Assembly from September through November; and the Pulitzer Center’s StoryReach U.S. Fellowship, which grants $30,000 to newsrooms who value collaboration and audience engagement as much as powerful enterprise reporting.
In-person and virtual events coming up include the Association of Health Care Journalists’s online workshop on Pitching Your Ideal Publication; the in-person London News Journalism Workshop by the News Associates; an Investigative Reporters and Editors’ Data Journalism Bootcamp; and a Subscription Masters Series webinar with Dow Jones, from the International News Media Association.
And lastly, approaching deadlines for awards and contests include the Third Coast Audio Competition, which honors the best audio stories from around the world; and the 2025 National Wildlife Photo Contest from the National Wildlife Federation, which has $5,000 prizes.
