Hello folks, hope everybody is well and welcome to another edition of Inside The Newsroom, home to the largest journalism job board in the world.
Today we have a bumper edition with all of our databases bursting with opportunities.
I'll start with the jobs and we have a whopping 541 new and active openings, with the market starting to pick up again as summer draws to a close. I’m also seeing a significant rise in the number of fellowships and grants in the past couple of weeks, and we now have 61 on our board in addition to 98 events, workshops and awards. And finally, our media salaries database reached the 10,000 milestone, and continues to grow at ~250 new records each week.
For access to everything above, become a paid subscriber for as little as $3.50/£2.80 a month, or $30/£23 for the year.
Don't forget that if you've recently been laid off, or are worried about your job security, you can gain free access to all of our premium resources. Just email me at daniellevitt32@gmail.com.
And lastly, a quick piece of job board housekeeping: For the jobs that are fixed-term contracts, I've made the small change of labelling them from ‘Contract’ to ‘Fixed-Term’.
That's all for today. Thanks as always for your support and we'll do it all again next Wednesday. 👋
