Ideal Candidate: 3+ years of experience in similar position (web administrator, digital media producer, web editor); Proficiency with WordPress or Newspack preferred; Solid understanding of site usability best practices and SEO principles; Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram); Creativity and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
Salary: Minimum $80,000

Searchlight New Mexico
Searchlight New Mexico is a nonpartisan, nonprofit news organization dedicated to investigative reporting. In a landscape of shrinking media resources, their mission is to focus high-impact journalism on topics of local, regional and national interest in order to allow the public to see into the remote recesses of government and to expose abuses of power.
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Ideal Candidate: 5+ years experience in significant newsroom leadership roles in a newsroom; Clear understanding of First Amendment and the highest regard for upholding those standards; Experience in high-level decision-making with complex, impactful or sensitive news content; History of successful leadership, innovation and goal achievement; Demonstrated strong competitive instincts and intellectual curiosity; Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coordinate in an environment of accountability.
