Hello and welcome to the final edition of Inside The Newsroom on Substack.
From next week we will be publishing exclusively on Ghost. This is easily the hardest decision we have had to make so far in the almost eight years that Inside The Newsroom has existed, but as we continue to grow, it is a necessary one. Substack has been, and continues to be, a truly awesome platform that has literally changed media for the better. But as we progress in our mission to become the one-stop shop for all things journalism, Ghost provides us the best opportunity to realize those goals.
What’s changing:
The email domain will change (you’ll receive newsletters from a Ghost email address)
Our website will have a fresh new look and feel
You’ll have access to more journalism resources and tools
What’s staying the same:
The same great content you’ve come to expect
The same weekly schedule
All your subscription benefits remain intact
You don’t need to do anything. We will handle the transition automatically
Important: If you’re a paid subscriber, your subscription will transfer seamlessly. If you’re on the free list, you’ll continue receiving our newsletters. No action required on your part.
We’re incredibly grateful for your support as we’ve grown on Substack, and we’re excited to serve you even better on Ghost. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Now, let’s get to today’s sponsored postings and freelance pitch calls and pour one out for one final Substack edition packed with opportunities.
