Hello folks, happy Friday. The UK has finally cooled down after temperatures smashed previous records to reach 40.3°C/104.5°F. And it didn’t stop there: multiple wildfires broke out around the country in what was an insane and heartbreaking day. A small silver lining is that this should be a wakeup call for the government, organizations and people to sacrifice even further. The climate emergency isn’t coming, it’s already here.
Few bits of admin today and then we’ll get out of here and into the weekend weekend. Last week we released our first ‘drop’ for the Candidate Board, and I’m thrilled to announce we’ve had our first 10 news organizations sign up and will be ramping that number up in the coming days and weeks.
