Hello folks and a happy Tuesday to you all! Yesterday was another public holiday here in the UK, this time for the coronation of King Charles III. Unsurprisingly, our newspapers and TV screens were dominated with favorable coverage toward the Royal Family, but I was pleased to see more of a balance compared with previous royal events.
Anyway, we’re going to get in and out quicker than normal today, and we’ll resume properly on Friday with the latest edition of our Journalism Awards, Events and Fellowships Deadlines Calendar. Until then, some quick housekeeping…

Be sure to check out last week’s edition which featured the best investigative journalism so far this year to commemorate World Press Freedom Day. My favorite series The Guardian’s incredible project digging into the secret wealth and finances of the British monarchy.
